Karen Kay Ennis (Gerry), formerly Karen Kilbourn, of Angleton, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2026 in her home, at the age of 67. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, from 12-3 p.m. at Terrace Park West in Sioux Falls.
Marcia M. Bonte, 75 Marcia M. Bonte, 75, of Garretson, died Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Hawarden, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Garretson at a later date.
Matthew Meester, 45, of Rock Rapids, Iowa, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his residence in Rock Rapids. A Celebration of Life was held Thursday, May 28 at the Forster Community Center of Rock Rapids. 
LeRoy Schroeder, 82, of Beaver Creek, Minn,m Friday, May 29, 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church of Beaver Creek.
Vernon Boldt, 87, Brandon, passed away at home on Saturday, May 30, 2026, with his wife Ivy, beside him. Services are being planned for at the Cloverdale Funeral Home and Cemetery in Boise, Idaho, for later next week.
Janet Leah Rollinger was born Sept. 4,1955. She was the oldest of three kids to Bill and Linda Rollinger of Sioux Falls. She went to elementary school at Christ the King and graduated from O’Gorman High in 1973. Jan began her work career at the Rollinger family business, “Central Waterproofing” where she learned to caulk, sandblast, and became a great tuck pointer. She later worked at a local favorite eastside bar, Clem’s, where she learned to play billiards. She became a great shooter and won many local events. Several years she competed in the World Finals in Las Vegas representing the women’s team from South Dakota.
Funeral services for Michael Eugene McCart Sr., 71, of Sioux Falls, were held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Restoration Baptist Church, also in Sioux Falls
David “Dave” M. Kock, 71, of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Dougherty Hospice House. Dave fought a hard and long battle against Multiple Myeloma starting Sept 22, 2010. Dave has made a heroic choice to gift his body to USD School of Medicine to help further research for this rare form of cancer, Multiple Myeloma. No services will be held at this time.
Lorna J. Kilian, 99, of Sioux Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Sanford Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., with family present beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Christ the Victor Chapel at First Lutheran Church, 327 S. Dakota Ave., Sioux Falls. Burial will be in the West Nidaros Cemetery, Crooks.
Troy W. Wylie, 54, of Gayville, S.D., passed away from complications of cancer on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. The family will be present for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.
