Troy W. Wylie, 54, of Gayville, S.D., passed away from complications of cancer on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. The family will be present for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.  

He is survived by his wife, Jana Wylie of Gayville; his mother, Teresa Wylie (Arnie) of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Molly (Charlie) Peters of Davis, S.D., and Jennifer (Bill) Rerick of Sioux Falls; step-sons, James and Joshua Brewer; nephews, Brenden (Courtney) Lohrenz, Samuel and Bennett Rerick; nieces, Hannah Rabayev, Alexia Fitzgerald, Ashlee Lohrenz, and CheyAnne Skeen; sisters-in-law, Jackie LaCroix (Gary); Janelle Tacke (Scott); his parents-in-law, Joe Vitek and JoAnn (Terry) List; his fur baby, Furby; and a host of many other relatives and friends..
