Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8 at Beresford Zion United Methodist Church with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m.
Joelle Scroggs was born May 4, 1935 in Beresford, S.D., to Ray and Kathryn (Chadwick) Scroggs. She grew up in Beresford and graduated from Beresford High School in 1953. While in high school she proudly reigned as Homecoming Queen and was blessed to meet her high school sweetheart and future husband, Donald Stuessi. Don and Joelle were married Jan. 30, 1954. Their marriage was a 64-year partnership. They happily raised their four children together and worked their farm together.
