Vicki Lou Aaseng, 74, of Brandon, passed away at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday Aug. 18 at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Aaseng; son, Lee (Janet) Aaseng; daughter, Angie (Allen “Dunks”) Dunkelberger; grandchildren, James (Melissa) Aaseng, Theresa (Ethan) Aaseng, Michael Aaseng, Elizabeth Aaseng, Braeden Dunkelberger, Tanner Dunkelberger, Brody Dunkelberger, Kaitlyn (Cole) Hodges, Domenic (Alexis) Aaseng, and Jakob Aaseng; great-grandchildren, Leo, Greyson, and Sophia; sister, Mary (Jerry) Kellen; and many nieces and nephews.
