USAF Heartland band to give free community concert

OFFUTT AFB, Neb. – Offutt Brass, a seven-member brass, vocal and percussion ensemble from the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band will present a free patriotic community concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Brandon Valley Performing Arts Center, 301 S. Splitrock Blvd., Brandon.
The program, entitled “Celebrate the American Spirit,” encompasses a variety of familiar Broadway and classical selections, famous marches, traditional jazz and patriotic favorites.
Tickets are available online at www.afheartlandband.eventbrite.com or in person (after Jan. 10) at the office of the Brandon Valley Journal, 1404 E. Cedar St., Brandon.
General admission seating begins at 1 p.m. All unclaimed seats will be available to non-ticket holders 15 minutes prior to the performance.
