James ‘Jim’ Zimmerman, 81

James L. Zimmerman, 81, of Brandon, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at Dougherty Hospice House with his beloved family at his side. 

Memorial Mass was held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy Zimmerman; sons, Troy Zimmerman, Kyle (Shelly) Zimmerman, all of Grandon; daughter, Nicole (Steve) Tripp, Brandon; sisters, Barbara (David) Huene and Dena Jarvis, of both Cummins, Ga., Mary Jane (Dominic) Fornelli, Beckemeyer, Ill.; grandsons, Tyler Zimmerman, Austin Zimmerman, Cade Tripp and Clay Tripp.

James was preceded in death by his son, Todd; his parents, Adam and Sophia; sister, Shirley Hook.
