Timothy ‘Tim’ Palank, 45 

Timothy “Tim” Douglas Palank, 45, of Philadelphia, Pa., formerly of Hardwick, Minn., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, from natural causes.

Memorial services were held Friday, Nov. 7 at First Presbyterian Church in Luverne. Inurnment was in the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids, Iowa.

He is survived by his partner, Sandy Groenwold of Claymont, Del.; mother, Sarah (Gary) Kooiker of Brandon; father, Douglas (Vicki) Palank of Omaha, Neb.; siblings, Abigail (Marc) and Isla Carey of Champlin, Minn., Hannah (Roberto) and Jack Timothy Luciano of Gainesville, Fla., and Jessica Palank of Omaha; and many loving family members and friends.
