Blizzard sales to
benefit CMN
For three hours today (July 17), Dairy Queen Blizzard ice cream treats will be available in Brandon. Celebrate Community Church, 900 N. Splitrock Blvd., will sell Blizzards from 4-7 p.m. at the church, and $1 from each Blizzard sold will support Sanford Children’s Miracle Network.
TOPS has new
summer hours
Starting Monday, July 22, TOPs summer hours are 10 a.m. (weigh-in), followed by 10:30 a.m. meeting in room 126 at Brandon Lutheran Church, 600 E. Holly Blvd.
BAFP’s July needs
July needs at the Brandon Area Food Pantry are beef stew, pancake mix, bagged egg noodles, Knorr rice and noodle packets, pie filling, salt and pepper shaker sets, potato chips and laundry detergent.
Before donating food items, please check expiration dates and that cans are not bulging from age and/or freezing. Monetary donations are also appreciated.
The BAFP also accepts used eye glasses and hearing aids on behalf of the Brandon Lions Club.
The BAFP is open 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 406 Main Ave.
Sign-up for Pigskin Classic Golf Tourney now open
Registrations are being accepted for the Brandon Valley Booster Club Pigskin Classic Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 10. Cost is $60 per player. The four-person scramble will tee off at 8 a.m. and check-in is no later than 7:30 a.m. at the Brandon Golf Course.

Brandon Sr. Citizens
The Brandon Senior Citizens meet 12:30 p.m. every Thursday at the VFW for Bingo and cards. All are welcome. The group also lunches together on the third Thursday of each month, with a noon meal catered by Tony’s. To reserve a spot, call 605-582-3838.
