BV Hall of Fame banquet is Saturday
Three individuals and the 1988 Lynx football team will be inducted into Brandon Valley High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame this year.
Former Lynx student-athletes Coty (Fitts) McGuire and Austin Sumner, former coach Brad Thorson and BV’s ‘88 football team will be inducted Saturday, March 30 banquet at the Brandon Golf Course. Social time is from 6-7 p.m., followed by dinner and the induction ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the BVHS office.
Swing into Spring with the BTA
Brandon Tennis Association is hosting a Swing Into Spring Sunday indoors from 1-3 p.m. March 31 at Huether Family Match Pointe, 4210 Bobhalla Dr., Sioux Falls. Families and individuals are invited to this free event, and participants can bring a racquet or use one of the BTAs.
Sign up for Lynxville Camp will also be available. Those who sign up that day will receive a $5 discount. The offer is good at the event only. Lynxville Camp provides fun tennis lessons for ages 5-14 at the Brandon Valley Middle School courts.
Brandon Valley Fine Arts Night
Brandon Valley Fine Arts Boosters will host a districtwide BV Fine Arts Night from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 in the BVHS Commons. The night will offer make-and-take activities for kids of all ages and t-shirt printing (must provide own shirt). Admission is free.

BV School Board filings open April 9
Circulation of nomination petitions for election to the Brandon Valley Board of Education may begin Tuesday, April 9. Petitions must be filed by 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, at the BV Central Office.
There are two, three-year board vacancies available.
If an election is warranted, voters will go to the polls Tuesday, June 18.
