MCAP spring show is April 19-21, 26-28
Mighty Corson Art Players will present their spring show, [title of show] at 7:30 p.m. April 19-20 and 26-27 and at 2:30 p.m. April 21 and 28 at the Corson Theatre.
[The 90-minute show, which does not have an intermission, contains instances of mature language and themes.

VS Legion soup supper is April 19
Valley Springs American Legion will host a soup supper from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, April 19.
Brandon 2024 Earth Day River Clean-Up
Brandon volunteers are invited to take part in the annual Earth Day River Clean-Up event from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 20 at McHardy Park.
Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a waiver and check-in. Garbage bags, disposable gloves and bug spray will be provided. Volunteers may want to bring sunscreen, their own gloves and grabber.
This event is jointly sponsored by the City of Brandon and the Friends of the Big Sioux River.

Race Car Show in Valley Springs this Saturday
Broadway Avenue in Valley Springs will be lined with fast cars, motorcycles and rat rods from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 20. The event is being organized by Chad A. Kuhnert and features live music by Southern Detour. Proceeds from food and beverage sales will go to the Valley Springs Fire Department.
B-47 pilot to speak at Military History Night
The Valley Springs American Legion will host Military History night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21. A former Air Force pilot will be presenting his experiences of training in, and flying the B-47, America’s first jet-powered bomber in the early days of the Cold War. There will be a time for discussion and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
BLC host site of April 29 Blood Drive
