ZooMobile to visit Brandon Library this Friday
Kick off the Brandon anniversary celebration weekend with a visit to the Brandon Community Library on Friday, July 21. The ZooMobile will be at the Brandon Library, 305 S. Splitrock Blvd., from 10-11 a.m.
Overflow parking is available in the southeast parking lot of Brandon Valley School, and access to the library may be gained through entrance door 20.
Current needs at the Brandon Food Pantry
Current needs at the Brandon Food Pantry are bottled juices, Jello and pudding, canned soups (tomato, bean, vegetable beef, chicken gumbo, etc.), canned chicken, mustard and ketchup, toothpaste.
To make appointments for pickups or donations, call 582-7001. The BAFP is open from 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Used eye glasses and hearing aids for the Brandon Lions Club may also be dropped off at the BAFP.
Battle of the Badges Blood Drive
Appointments are being scheduled for the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, July 21 in the parking lot outside the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. Individuals are asked to donate blood on behalf of the Brandon Fire Department, Brandon Police Department or MED-Star Paramedic Service.

MCAP to host live taping of Fear Falls broadcast
Tickets are now available for Fear Falls Mo-Stravaganza at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 the Corson Playhouse. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Mighty Corson Art Players, this is a taping of the Fear Falls broadcasts in front of a live studio audience – you! As if that wasn’t enough, a special recording of The Dave Holly Hour, where Dave interviews actor, director, podcast producer and Fear Falls founder, Mo Hurley.
Fear Falls is a monster story radio show combining the styles of the ‘40s radio plays with the spooky vibe of the ‘80s and ‘90s thrillers, sharing atmospheric stories of all the ghouls and crawling creatures lurking under the Midwest Moon.

Brandon Farmers Market
The Brandon Farmers Market is open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. every Saturday through October in the Lippert parking lot at 915 N. Splitrock Blvd.
