SVE annual meeting is June 5 in Brookings
Sioux Valley Energy 2018 Annual Meeting is set for Tuesday, June 5 at the Swiftel Center, 824 32nd Ave., Brookings. From 5-6:45 p.m. is registration, a complimentary meal and activity fair (car show, bingo and games, technology display, 1950’s costume contest). The annual meeting is from 6:45-7:20 p.m., followed by the Holy Rocka Rollaz Band, a classic early rock ‘n’ roll band.
Circuit Fitness treats teachers to free classes
June is teacher appreciation month at Circuit Fitness in Brandon, where teachers will receive a free month of classes. Teachers asked to show their teacher ID.
Physicals needed for 2018-19 athletic, band programs
All incoming 7-12th grade students who plan to participate in Brandon Valley athletics and/or marching band during the 2018-19 school year must have a new physical on or after April 1, 2018, using BV’s two-page physical form. The form is available on the BVHS website, at both medical clinics in Brandon and the middle school and high school offices.
When the form has been completed, parent(s) and/or guardian(s) are stating they’ve also completed the Family Access update/verification process for the 2018-19 school year, including emergency contact information and permission to print student information used for team travel, printed rosters and standard media coverage, which may require updating Family Access when the request form is received from the Central Office.

Register now for Jimmie Fjerestad Memorial Golf Tourney
Registrations are now being accepted for the third annual Jimmie Fjerestad Memorial Golf Tournament. The event, which benefits the Brandon Community Foundation, is Friday, June 29 at the Brandon Golf Course, teeing off at 8 a.m.
