Biz Bash &
Kidpreneur Market is Saturday
Saturday is chocked full of activities, beginning with the 2022 Biz Bash & Kidpreneur Market. The free family event runs from 10-a.m.-2 p.m. (Kidpreneurs Market until 1 p.m.) in the Spliorock Square parking lot, 306 S. Splitrock Blvd. A variety of community businesses and organizations will have booths and Kidpreneurs will sell their wares and services. Bring along the postcard mailed to you and if you get a sticker at every booth, turn in t card in at the Chamber booth for an entry into a prize-give away. There will be swag bags, inflatables, a petty zoon, coloring contest and a whole lot more!

Rummages this week
Brandon will be buzzing with traffic this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25-27, as the 13th annual Fall Citywide Rummages will be held. For a glimpse at the goods for sale, visit BrandonRummages.com.
Brandon Historical Society Fall Book Sale is Aug. 26-27
Brandon Historical Society’s Fall Book Sale will be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Storage Unit 26, 1412 E. Cedar St., north of the Brandon Post Office.
Hard/soft cover books and new paperback books are $1 each; used paperbacks are $5 a bag and $10-plus a box.
Proceeds are dedicated to the Brandon Area Museum, which will be open from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3. The Graff Cabin at Pioneer Park will be open after that from 2-3 p.m.
The next Brandon Historical Society meeting begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at 7 in the Brandon Area Museum.
Pillow cleaning Aug. 31 at BLC
Brandon Lutheran Church, 600 E. Holly Blvd., will host a pillow cleaning service from 9 a.m,.-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31. Prices range from $16-21, depending on size and thread count. Pillows may be dropped off at the church ahead of that date and picked up later.
August needs at the BAFP
August needs at the Brandon Area Food Pantry are pizza crust mix, canned peaches, canned mixed vegetables. Pop-Tarts (8 count), Jell-O, egg noodles, body wash and tooth paste.
Pantry clients must be vaccinated and wear a mask to shop the Pantry. If not vaccinated, clients will receive items that have been pre-bagged by BAFP volunteers.
