Richard Pearson, 88

Memorial services for Richard “Dick” Pearson, 88, of Rapid City, were held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, with military honors performed by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard and VFW Post 1273.

Dick was born in Brandon on May 16, 1930 to Einar and Julia (Ode) Pearson. 

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; sons, John (Solveig) and Eric (Maggie); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lorna (Tom Kilian); and their children, Peter, Mary, and Susan. 

A service of interment will be held in Brandon in the summer.
