Quilts for Ukraine

Submitted photo

The Brandon Quilt Guild was challenged to make a quilt in support of Ukraine. The pattern was downloaded from Pat Sloan’s blog website for a small donation to UNICEF. To date, the fundraiser has collected almost $200,000 from 21 countries around the world. Pictured with the quilt squares Guild members made are, from left, row one: Joann West, Nyla Sorheim and Judy Nissen; row two: Lou Ann Boer, Linda Brandhagan, Linda Hoefers, Diane Boheman and Cynde Stoakes. Not pictured is Jane Ellis.
