Putting out the call for used books

Between spring cleaning and the end of the school year, many people have books they are ready to discard. Rather than throwing them away, the South Dakota Republican Women in Cyberspace are holding a book drive. Books may be brought to Sunshine Foods in Brandon, where there is a drop box in store’s entryway. The drive wraps up Friday, May 28. All donated books will be distributed to local children of all ages in an effort to encourage summer reading.
