Milton Lathrop, 90

Milton Lathrop, 90, of Worthing, formerly of Garretson, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at his home in Worthing. Visitation with the family present will take place from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 18 at the South Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

He is survived by his children, Albertina Marshalek of Worthing, Paul (Sue) Lathrop of Sioux Falls, Louise Benjamin of Worthington, Minn., Bennett (Carissa) Lathrop of Garretson, Garrett (Kira) Lathrop of Skagway, Alaska, Brigett McCallum of Baltic, and Collin (Chanay) Lathrop of Garretson; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Lathrop of Worthing; brother-in-law, Bob Wade of Hills City; and sister-in-law, Faith Lathrop of Valley Springs.
