The magic of Thelma’s green thumb

Though the patio off of her living room may be small in size, Thelma Froke’s green thumb is surely evident. Froke is especially proud of the poinsettia plant she received as a Christmas gift last year. “I thought it would die, but it just keeps growing,” she said. Her late husband, Curt, also had a love for plants, Froke said. Along with the poinsettia, Froke’s patio is filled with colorful blooms and lots of greenery, all which she tends to on a daily basis.
