Maddy VanEngen, 33, of Ocheyedan, Iowa passed away, Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 at First Reformed Church in Sibley, Iowa. Burial was in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Cody and their children, Jax, Cash, Kolt, and Hallie; parents, Jan and Ron Hoffman of Remsen, Iowa; sister, Erin (Paul) Miller of Waterloo, Iowa; stepbrothers, Andy (Afton) Hoffman of Carlisle, Iowa, and Alex (Alicia) Hoffman of Remsen; parents-in-law, Ron and Shari VanEngen of Sibley, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Denise VanEngen of Brandon, and Casey (Dustin) Gust of Sibley; grandmother-in-law, Lois Bolkema; 10 nieces and nephews; along with extended family and many friends.
