Pizza Ranch staffer awarded scholarship

Lexi Ellingson, a team member of the Pizza Ranch in Brandon, was recently awarded the Service From The Heart Scholarship for $2,000 funded by Pizza Ranch and Coca-Cola. Ellingson was rated and recommended by the restaurant’s manager, Seth Weber, and was one of 10 team members system-wide to receive the prize grant this year.
To apply, qualifying candidates are asked to submit a written essay that details how they exemplify “Service From The Heart” for their community and guests as they live out the Pizza Ranch mission: To give every guest a legendary experience. As a supplement, the general manager or franchisee is asked to give the team member a star rating.
“I have become a better worker and overall person in my three years of employment at the Brandon Pizza Ranch. The Service From The Heart mentality is one that every person should possess in the workplace and in society in general,” Ellingson wrote. “I treat every guest like they are the most important person in the world with the most upright respect.”
The Pizza Ranch Coca-Cola Scholarship Program awards 10, $2,000 scholarships to team members who plan to attend or who are currently attending a post-secondary educational institution. To date, Pizza Ranch Corporate has given out over $30,000 in grants to its team members through the Pizza Ranch Coca-Cola Scholarship Program.
