Letter to the Editor: Nelson: Happy to be in Brandon

Dear Editor,

A little over a week ago, my husband Joe and I and our three children packed up everything we owned and moved from Minnesota to Brandon for a fresh start.

We left behind what was familiar to follow where we felt God was leading us. Starting over isn’t easy. It means leaving friends, clients, routines and the comfort of knowing exactly what tomorrow looks like. But sometimes the biggest blessings begin with the biggest leaps of faith.

Since arriving, we’ve already experienced kindness from neighbors, local businesses and complete strangers. That welcome has reminded me why communities like Brandon are so special.

I’m also excited to bring my small business, Clean Girl Revival, to the area. I provide non-toxic residential/commercial cleaning with a focus on serving families with care, integrity and attention to detail. Building a business from the ground up in a new town is both humbling and exciting and every conversation, recommendation, and opportunity means more than people probably realize.

More importantly, this move has been about giving our children a place to grow, planting new roots, and embracing a new chapter as a family.

To everyone who has welcomed us, encouraged us, or simply smiled and said hello, thank you. You may not realize it, but those small acts of kindness make a big difference when you’re starting over.

We’re grateful to now call Brandon home and we’re looking forward to serving this community for many years to come.
