Holly Blvd. Harmony selected to perform for SD choral directors

Holly Blvd. Harmony hit the right note in their audition to perform at South Dakota’s choral directors conference on Jan. 22 in Sioux Falls. Holly Blvd. Harmony is comprised of the top 32 singers in Brandon Valley Middle School’s 192-voice choir. Hosted by the American Choral Directors Association, the BVMS ensemble will perform at a cumulative concert in Downtown Sioux Falls on the evening of Jan. 22. BVMS Choral Director Lauren Mellilo said the ensemble’s selection to perform “is a huge honor for our students and school.” The concert will also feature an area high school and two area collegiate choirs. Holly Blvd. Harmony primarily sings pop, jazz and acapella tunes.
