BVHS is ‘honored’ for giving ways

Brandon Valley Booster club members EB Carda (from left), Kari Helgeson, Jennifer Boomsma and Ashton Siebrecht, a development officer for Sanford Health Foundation, proudly display a check in the amount of $19,023.81 at the Oct. 2 Just Cure It Night match. That amount reflects the last 10 years (not including 2025) of donations made to Sanford Health Foundation during that time. The money is raised through the sale of Just Cure It t-shirts and monetary donations from the crowd. The amount also recognizes Brandon Valley High School as a member of the Sanford Health Foundation Honors Society. Collection buckets were also made available at Friday’s football game against Sioux Falls Lincoln.
