Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire opens new location

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire has opened their newest location, Empower Campus, located at 2001 E. 8th St. in Sioux Falls on the former School for the Deaf campus. BGCSE will join several other non-profits organizations on the campus creating a centralized location of services.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire has sold both their 14th Street Learning Center and Eastside Learning Center locations. All services at both buildings have been elocated to the Empower Campus. The Boys & Girls Club’s Empower Campus will provide the following program services for children 4 weeks to age 18: Early Learning Academy (birth-Pre-K), Ignite Before, Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (K-age12) and the Club drop-in program (1st-age 18).

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire has served the Sioux Falls area since 1957 when the Boys Club was founded by the Morning Optimist Club. The Empower Campus location will join 9 other physical Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg in addition to outreach programming.
