Roger Wayne Hunt, 80, of Brandon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, following a five-week hospitalization from surgery complications.
Maurice Bernard Johnson, 69, of Brandon, died peacefully on Oct. 11, 2018, at his son’s home in Washington, D.C. He was born September 12, 1949 to Bernard and Ruby (Benda) in Brandon, S.D.
A Celebration of Life service for Rev. Diedrik “Dan” Nelson, 84, of Sioux Falls, was held Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at First Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.
Rev. Nelson died Monday, Nov. 5, at Sanford Medical Center.

Funeral services for Johnnie “John” Mort Smeins, 88, of Brandon, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at George Boom Funeral Chapel in Brandon. Burial will be in the New Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone, Minn.
