Velva “Jeannie” Wheeler, 72

Velva “Jeannie” Wheeler, 72, of Brandon, died Friday, May 19, 2023, surrounded by her family at her home, under hospice care. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 25, also at the funeral home. 

She is survived by her daughters, Monica Bettin of Sioux Falls, Maureen “Mo” Kleven of Garretson, and Marlene (Wally) Luedtke of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Tayla (Steven) Fazio, Breah Bettin, Kasey (Sierra) Kleven, Cole Bettin, Braiden (Caitlin) Luedtke, Kendra Kleven, and Kenzie Luedtke; great-grandson, Apollo Morgan; siblings, Bruce Allmendinger of Sioux Falls, Todd (Joan) Allmendinger of Colorado, and Darci O’Hara of Sioux Falls; siblings-in-law, Cal (Donnel) Wheeler and David (Cheryl) Wheeler, all of Sioux Falls; and a host of additional friends and family.
