Mark Engebretson, 69

Mark Engebretson, 69, of Wentworth, died Monday, June 15, 2026, at his home at Lake Madison. His memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, also at the funeral home. Burial was in the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Wentworth; sons, Jay (Alicia) Engebretson and Eric (Lydia) Engebretson, all of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Jackson, Lila, Tru, Trinedy; father, Edward Engebretson of Madison; sister, Patricia (Greg) Ford of Brandon; brother, Steve (Rose) Engebretson of Madison; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Mark is also survived by the community of Hares Point.
