Larry Almhjeld, 77, of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls.

A memorial visitation was held Friday, June 7 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Interment was in the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Jodi (Jim) Rysavy, Brandon, and Janel (Justin) Strawn, Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Brianna and Dawson Rysavy, Ethan and Alex Strawn; sister, Lynne (Jim) Liepold, Holmes City, Minn.; brother, Gary (Sue) Almhjeld, Brooking; sister, Judy Hoffmeyer, Hoffman, Minn.; and brother-in-law Paul Madsen, Jacksonville, Fla.
