Gregory Hewer, 71

Gregory Hewer, 71, of Sioux Falls, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, after a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at George Boom Funeral Chapel in Brandon. Interment was in the Split Rock Lutheran Cemetery, rural Brandon.

He grew up in Brandon and graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1970.

He is survived by his son, Brad (Nicole) Hewer of Maple Grove, Minn.; a granddaughter on the way; Brad’s mother, Paula Fossum, Sioux Falls; siblings, Ginger Dahlenberg, California City, Calif., Patti (Don) Fox of Sioux Falls, Julie (Scott) Clark of Early, Iowa, and Lonnie Hewer; of Baltic; and a host of additional family members and friends.
