Dorothy Sorenson, 91, of Garretson, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2025. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church in Garretson. Interment will follow in the West Palisade Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Garretson.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Michael) Moe, Bruce; son, Ryan (Renee) Nelson, Garretson; step-children, Ron Sorenson, Blaine, Minn., Darla (Jeff) Lowe, Garretson, Rick (Jan) Sorenson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; step-grandchildren, Jamie (Jase) Benson, Leslie (Ryan) Longhenry, Kirby (Maddie) Lowe, all of Garretson, Jennifer (Nick) Solberg, Hams, Minn., Kim (Aubrey) Sorenson, Spring Lake Park, Minn., Kelly Moniken, Big Lake, MN; Erik (Annabel) Asp, Denver, CO; Jason (Deona) Asp, Denver, CO; Amber (Roger) Koppen, Davenport, Iowa, Angela (Garth Johnson) Koch, Arlington, Susan (Ryan) DeWitte and Mitchell (Nikki Elsing) Koch, all of Sioux Falls; step-great-grandchildren, and special friend Norm Nussbaum, Garretson.
