From over 4,000 boutiques worldwide, beautique of Brandon has won the hearts of both local and global shoppers being voted into the final round of the 2017 Boutique Awards in the state of South Dakota as a contender for Best Boutique in SD, Best Storefront Boutique in SD, as well as Best Global Boutique of the Year.
“We are beyond excited to make the finals in the Boutique Awards! I started this business on a dream and a prayer after we adopted our youngest son in 2014. I never imagined it would become what it has! My customers are my family and I would do anything for them to be happy with our products and service. I am so very thankful for my family, friends, and staff for their continued support since day one. This is literally a dream come true,” said owner Amanda Christopherson.
The Boutique Awards is the only global recognition event for independent boutique retail owners in the fashion industry, hosted by The Boutique Hub. The Awards recognize and celebrate the best boutiques across all 50 States in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, in the categories of Storefront Boutique of the Year, Online Boutique of the Year, Children’s Boutique of the Year, Mobile Boutique of the Year, and State or Country Overall Boutique of the Year.
Already, the awards have garnered over 300,000 votes from shoppers and consumers who love boutique shopping worldwide, and voting wraps up on Aug. 21 on www.theboutiqueawards.com.
The awards celebrates retail at a unique time, when many are dubbing a current retail apocalypse, however, industry trends show a strong upswing in the boutique retail market. The Boutique Hub, the global voice and Hub of the Boutique Fashion Industry, cites one of the strongest boutique markets in history with new boutiques opening daily across the globe, and established boutiques posting some of the strongest sales to date. The Shop Small movement is certainly alive and well as big box retail dwindles.
beautique opened in June of 2014. The store features women’s clothing, shoes and accessories – as well as children’s clothing, shoes and accessories. beautique also expanded into gift, home, and beauty items this past year when they moved into a larger storefront in Brandon, as they grew out of their first storefront very quickly. They now call 4,000 square feet in a newly built Brandon strip mall home.
