Austin Lambertz, 23

Austin Lovern Lambertz, 23, of Brandon, died Thursday, January 22, 2026 in Sioux Falls. Private family services are pending for later this spring. 

Austin was born on March 18, 2002 in Brookings, SD.  He was raised in rural Valley Springs, SD and received his elementary education in Valley Springs, Brandon Valley Middle School and Brandon Valley High School.  

Austin worked as a welder at Spartan Emergency Response in Brandon.  

Austin loved going fast, on anything from horses to cars and then motorcycles. He had a passion for hunting and enjoyed playing video games and recently boxing. 

He is survived by his father, Keith Lambertz, Valley Springs; grandparents, Steve and Marilyn Lambertz, Valley Springs; two brothers, Devon Lambertz, Ft. Bliss, Texas, and Lane Lambertz, Valley Springs; his significant other, Amber Olson and their daughter, RaeLynn Marie Olson Brandon; Amber’s son, Dallas Olson, Brandon; many great aunts, great uncles, other relatives and friends.
