Ceremonial flag disposalCharles R. Doman American Legion Post 131 and Beaver Valley Boy Scout Troop 582 held a Dignified Disposal of Unserviceable Flags ceremony on Saturday at Legion Park. In all total, 157 unserviceable flags were retired. Post 131 takes worn out flags anytime and stores them until the next ceremony. For assistance, contact any Legion member for assistance. B&G Milky Way had a tall order to fill last week when Brandon Valley graduate Izzy DeWitt and nine members of her Abiding Savior Lutheran’s summer childcare group put in a walk-up order at the drive-through window. The alley side parking update outside the Valley Springs American Legion Hall has been completed. The update added two handicap parking spots bringing the total to four.
