Senior Spotlight: Kylie Felderman

Kylie Felderman
Kylie Felderman has no better memory of high school than being a part of the Lady Lynx’s run to the 2019 state basketball title.
She played basketball her freshman through junior years at Brandon Valley High, but had to hang up her shoes after tearing her ACL three times.
Kylie also competed for the Lady Lynx soccer team and is involved in the Spanish club and National Honor Society.
Outside the walls of BVHS, she’s involved in a discipleship group that does volunteer work at nursing homes or The Banquet, for example. She also takes part in the Sioux Falls Cares program.
Her career interests lie in physical therapy, and she will further her education at the University of South Dakota, where she will major in kinesiology and sports management.
Given the opportunity, Kylie would choose to have lunch with her late grand-grandmother Sara, whom she is named after.
“I would choose her because I don’t really remember her that much but I hear about how great of a person she is and how she has impacted my family,” Kylie said. “I would love to have a conversation with her.”
Mini-corn dogs is her favorite item on the school lunch menu, as is the color yellow, the TV show Friends, the U.S. national women’s soccer team and celebrity, Kylie Jenner.
Kylie is the daughter of Shelli and Ryan Felderman of Brandon.
