SDSU spring 2022 Dean’s List released

SDSU released thespring 2022 Dean’s List and 58 students from Brandon and Valley Springs made the cut. Students must earn a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled in at least 12 credits to qualify. A 4.0 for the semester is indicated by an asterisk. Halling garners MSU-Moorhead Dean’s List recognition

Mallory Halling, a nursing major from Brandon, was named to the Minnesota State University Moorhead dean’s list in recognition of academic achievement spring semester 2022. Students must maintain a 3.25 or higher grade point average and carry 12 graded credits to qualify for the honor. 

BHSU students named to Dean’s List

Black Hills State University released the Dean’s List for the spring 2022 semester. A total of 638 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. Students from Brandon are Kassidi Bailey and Natalie (Moose) Elkin; and from Garretson, Amber Dubblede earned Academic Recognition.

 

Csordacsics lands on ILCC President’s List

Iowa Lakes Community College, Estherville, Iowa, has released the Spring 2022 Honors Lists recognizing students who achieve the highest academic standards to be included on the President’s Honor List or Dean’s List.

For the Spring 2022 semester, 109 students, including Alika Csordacsics, of Brandon, made the President’s Honor List, an honor achieved by those who recorded a 4.0 GPA.

USD spring Dean’s List, Academic Honors released

More than 2,100 students at the University of South Dakota are being honored for their high achievement during the spring 2022 semester with the release of the Dean’s List and Academic Honors.

Full-time, undergraduate students are named to the Dean’s List if they received a 3.5 GPA for courses they took in the spring 2022 semester, and they had no incomplete or failing grades. For part-time students, those with fewer than 12 credit hours, the recognition is called Academic Honors.

Abigail Bastian chosen

for summer research, study program

Northwestern College junior Abigail Bastian, of Brandon, were selected for competitive off-campus research and study programs this summer.

Bastian is one of two Sioux Falls-area students chosen to work in the genomic lab of South Dakota’s Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center. She is spending eight weeks conducting research with molecular and experimental medicine designed to treat breast and ovarian cancer. Bastian is majoring in genetics, molecular biology and cellular biology.
