Splitrock Ladies League
The Splitrock Ladies bowled on Feb. 11, coming away with the following results: High Team Game & Series, Jesse James, 877 & 2,555; High Individual Game & Series, Kathie Franz, 196 & 508; Jill Reindl, Gwynne Anderson and Cheryl Scholl all picked up the 2-7 split; Jan Fonder picked up the 5-7 split; Bonnie Kramer picked up the 4-5-7 & 2-7 splits; Cheryl Lyngen, Barb Risty and Amanda Lumpkin all picked up the 3-10 split.
Jackie Engebretson bowled two games over her average, the first 51 pins and the second, 57 pins.
Results from the Feb. 4 session of the Splitrock Ladies League are as follows: High Team Game & Series, Garretson Insurance, 918 & 2,623; High Individual Game & Series, Bonnie Kramer, 203 & 538.
Gwynne Anderson, Ann Behrend and Kathie Franz all picked up the 3-10 split; Bonnie Kramer picked up the 2-7 split twice and Joann Gundvaldson picked up the 2-7 split; Cheryl Scholl picked up the 4-5 split; and DeVona Engebretson picked up the 9-10 split.
Pat Paulsen bowled 51 pins over her average and Marlene Blum bowled a 201, which was 83 pins over her average.
 
BV’s Class of ’20 Hall of Fame inductions 
Brandon Valley’s 2020 Hall of Fame class includes three individuals and a championship girls’ basketball team. The banquet is Saturday, March 28 Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased at the high school office starting March 2.
This year’s inductees are Dan Hanson, Class of 1976; Mike Meyers, Class of 1982; Heidi Hoff, Class of 2009; and the 2011 state championship girls’ basketball team.
 
Registration open for Team Brandon Valley 2020 basketball
Registration is open for Team Brandon Valley’s 2020 basketball season. Registration deadline is Feb. 15. Team Brandon Valley gives players in grades 4-12 the opportunity to play competitive basketball during the spring and summer.
