A Brandon man accused of falsifying the radium level numbers on an official city water report will make his first appearance in Minnehaha County Court on April 9.
Kris Gagnon, 47, was indicted by a grand jury last month for allegedly altering the state lab’s water report last summer to make it appear that the maximum contaminant level of radium in Brandon’s drinking water exceeded the EPA standards.
Gagnon posted the report last July on a local Facebook page, The Dirt, acting as the page administrator.
He is charged with two counts of forgery and is expected to enter a plea at his arraignment next month.
