Dell Rapids defeats BV boys on home lanes

Three of the four Dell Rapids teams Brandon Valley faced Dec. 6, cashed in wins against the Lynx.
In the varsity 1 boys’ match, the Quarriers hustled the Lynx, 23-2.
The varsity 2 boys match went down to the wire, with Dell Rapids claiming the nip-and-tuck 13-12 win.
BV’s only win of the day came in the junior varsity 1 match. BV completely controlled the match to come away with the 21.5-3.5 victory.
Finally, the JV boys 2 team lost to Dell Rapids, 17-8.
Because Dells does not field a girls’ team, the Lady Lynx did not compete.
This Friday, BV hosts Yankton at 4 p.m. at Empire Bowl in Sioux Falls.
