Darlene M. Denevan, 80, of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, March 4, 2023, surrounded by family at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 521 N. Duluth Ave., Sioux Falls. 

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Denevan of Sioux Falls; children, David (Allison) Denevan of Brandon, Mary Dickerson, Daniel Denevan, and James (Amanda) Denevan, all of Sioux Falls, and Thomas (Jennifer) Denevan of Dumfries, Va.; eight grandchildren, Alyssa Donat, Joey (Regan) Dickerson, Evan (Lauren) Wilson, Seamus Denevan, Connor Denevan, Isabella Denevan, Emily Denevan and Madelyn Denevan; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Marlin (Judy) Schryvers, Gerald (Susan) Schryvers, Karel Sejnoha, Linda Geiken, Sharon (Ken) Teunissen, Laura (Steve) Baete and Randy (Cheryl) Schryvers; brother-in-law, Steve Horst; and sister-in-law, Sharon Schryvers.
