BV’s academic culture builds successful students

As April is upon us, the testing season will soon be underway. We greatly appreciate our parents and guardians support as our children complete the South Dakota state assessment. To ensure your child can perform at an optimal level, a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast is critical to their success.

Although a snapshot, the state assessment provides valuable academic data. We utilize the data to provide our students with the instruction, curriculum, and interventions necessary for their individual success. The focus on continual academic student growth drives our ability to build upon our strong academic tradition.

Our strong school tradition and academic culture play an intricate role in the continued success of our students. Strong school culture is built and maintained through the celebration of past successes, embracing current school events, and maintaining a continual growth mindset as we build for the future. The Brandon Valley School District is extremely fortunate to have a strong academic and extracurricular tradition, which plays an enormous role in the on-going success of our schools.

Recently, we celebrated past athletic accomplishments with the Brandon Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet. Celebrating the past successes of the inductees and honoring them for their contributions to our tradition was an incredible experience. Congratulations to all the BV Athletic Hall of Fame inductees!

Go Lynx!
