Levo Credit Union names McKeown

marketing, business development VP

Levo Credit Union in Sioux Falls has named Jen McKeown as vice president of marketing and business development. McKeown previously worked at Avera Health for 12 years and, prior to that, the American Heart Association. She is a former news anchor and brings 20-plus years of marketing, communications, media relations and business development experience to the role.

McKeown will oversee marketing, public and media relations, business development and the Levo Cares Foundation. She is a member of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, the International Association of Business Communicators, and serves several community organizations, including the Brandon Valley Band Parents Inc. Board of Directors, the Brandon Valley Tennis Association Board, Brandon Valley Cross Country Booster Board, and as a classroom volunteer and regional board member for Junior Achievement.

Christmas at the Capitol display

now open through Dec. 26

 The 2022 Christmas at the South Dakota Capitol is on display daily 8 a.m.-10 p.m. in the Rotunda through Saturday, Dec. 26. This year’s theme is “Merry Prairie Christmas.”

The Capitol Christmas display includes around 82 trees decorated by volunteers from communities, schools, churches, nonprofit organizations, and state government offices. 

The largest tree in the Capitol, a 38-foot Black Hills Spruce, and was decorated by the South Dakota Shriners. After being trimmed, the tree stands at 29.5 feet.
